Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has opened its doors for aspiring candidates by inviting online applications for 454 Apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for its Marketing Division in the Northern Region. This recruitment drive covers various locations across states and UTs, including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. The vacancies are distributed among Technician Apprentices (148 posts), Trade Apprentices (127 posts), and Graduate Apprentices (179 posts). The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is 24 years as of 24th January 2025, with relaxation applicable for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates.

Eligible candidates must meet the educational criteria for their chosen discipline. For Technician Apprentices, a 3-year Diploma in the relevant field is required, while Trade Apprentices need a Matric with an ITI certificate, and Graduate Apprentices should hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the Apprentices Act, with additional contributions by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) for Graduate and Technician Apprentices.
