Renowned Indian singer and music director B Praak has taken a firm stand against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia following his controversial remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s show, ‘India’s Got Latent’. Expressing strong disapproval, B Praak revealed that he was scheduled to appear on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast but has now declined the invitation, citing the “pathetic” and “disrespectful” nature of the remarks made during the show. In an Instagram post, he called for greater respect in comedy, urging comedians to understand the responsibility they carry in influencing society.

B Praak specifically condemned Ranveer’s sexually offensive comment, stating that it is not aligned with Indian values and cannot be considered humor. He also criticized the use of abusive language and vulgar jokes in the name of comedy, emphasizing that content creators should be more mindful of the impact of their words. Questioning the morality of such conversations, he expressed disappointment over the way parents and sensitive topics were discussed, calling it a direct attack on Indian cultural values.

B Praak Calls Out Jaspreet Singh and Ranveer Allahbadia for Promoting Abusive Content

B Praak also took a strong stance against comedian Jaspreet Singh, accusing him of normalizing offensive language in public discourse. He questioned whether such behavior was appropriate for a Sikh, reminding Singh that his actions reflect on the larger community. Praak criticized Jaspreet for openly justifying his use of expletives on Instagram, stating, “Abusing people and teaching others to abuse—what kind of generation are we creating?” He further added that this mindset is harmful to the youth and needs to be stopped immediately.

In addition to condemning Jaspreet Singh, B Praak also called out Ranveer Allahbadia’s double standards. He pointed out the contradiction in Ranveer promoting spirituality and Sanatan Dharma on his podcast while simultaneously engaging in demeaning conversations. He urged content creators, including Samay Raina and other comedians, to take responsibility for their influence and stop spreading negativity under the guise of humor.

With a heartfelt appeal, B Praak urged comedians and influencers to use their platforms to educate, inspire, and uplift audiences rather than indulging in content that degrades cultural values and impacts young minds negatively. He warned that if such content continues unchecked, it will have long-term consequences for the younger generation. Ending his message with folded hands, B Praak reminded fellow artists of their duty to preserve Indian culture and traditions and to lead by example in shaping a more positive digital space.
